What the scheme gives you
The Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana protects farmers when a natural calamity damages their standing crop. It is not crop insurance and there is no premium to pay — the state pays a fixed rate directly to the farmer based on how badly the yield fell:

Who can apply
