Applicants must be aged between 18 and 37 years, with a maximum annual income of Rs. 25,000. They should be either self-employed or unemployed and come from poor households without any government employees in the family.

How to apply

Applications can be submitted to the State Institute of Panchayat Development (SIPRD) Assam, the implementing agency for the scheme.

1. Gather required documents including age proof and income certificate.
2. Visit the State Institute of Panchayat Development (SIPRD) Assam to submit your application.
3. Ensure your application is part of a group of at least four members or apply individually for specific activities.
4. Wait for the block-level selection committee to review your application.
5. If selected, receive guidance on accessing institutional credit from banks.

Documents required

• Age proof (School Certificate/ HSLC Admit card)
• Education qualification certificate
• PRC from Gaon Burah (For Village Area)
• Bank account photocopy
• Annual income certificate from Mouzadar or Circle Officer (Not exceeding Rs. 25,000 per annum)
• Passport size photographs (2 copies each)
• GMC Householding certificate (for Kamrup Metro Area)
