Eligible beneficiaries can receive a one-time subsidy of up to ₹2,50,000, covering 40% of the unit cost for water augmentation activities.

Who can apply

• owns cultivable land
• not income tax payer
• no government employee in family
• poor household

Farmers who own cultivable land and are not income tax payers can apply. Applicants must not have any government employees in their family and should belong to a poor household.

How to apply

Applications can be submitted through the prescribed format to the relevant authorities.

1. Obtain the application form and self-declaration format.
2. Fill and sign the application in duplicate.
3. Gather required documents including Aadhaar card and proof of land ownership.
4. Prepare a rough sketch of the estate with marked boundaries.
5. Collect quotations for machinery or equipment purchase.
6. Submit the application along with all documents to the designated authority.

Documents required

• Application and Self Declaration Duly Filled and Signed by the Applicant/s (in Duplicate) in the Prescribed Format.
• Aadhaar Card (UIDAI).
• Proof of Land Ownership in One of the Following Forms: a) Copy of Patta (Record of Rights) / Khatha Extract Along with Record of Rights (RTC) for All Survey Numbers Having Coffee in Possession of the Applicant in Karnataka. b) Copy of Land Possession Certificate Issued by the Competent Revenue Authority Along with RTCs for All Survey Numbers Having Multiple Names in the RTCs in Kodagu District, Karnataka. c) Copy of Chitta & Adangal or Land Possession Certificate with Adangal in Tamil Nadu. d) Copy of the Land Possession Certificate issued by the competent Revenue Authority of Kerala. e) In the case of joint ownership properties, if an individual application is submitted, the applicant should produce revenue records from the revenue authority indicating the extent of Coffee holding exclusively in his name.
• Self-prepared rough Sketch of the Estate Along with Check Bandi / Boundaries Marked with Clear Demarcation of the Site Where the Activity Is Proposed to Be Taken Up and Duly Signed by the Applicant/s.
• Quotation in Respect of Purchase of Machinery/Equipment.
• Self-Prepared Plan and Estimation for Water Storage Tank / Open Well / Ring Well.
• In Case the Applicant Is a General Power of Attorney (GPA) Holder, Attested Copy of the Registered GPA.
• In the Case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Category Growers, Caste Certificate Issued by the Competent Authority.
• Copy of the Bank Pass Book Having the Details of Account Number, Name of the Bank, Branch, Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) Code, etc., Preferably Aadhaar Seeded.
