Who can apply
The scheme is for brides from lower-income families in Telangana. You are eligible if:
- The bride is an unmarried resident of Telangana, aged 18 or above at marriage
- She belongs to SC/ST/BC/EBC (Kalyana Lakshmi) or a minority community (Shaadi Mubarak)
- The parents’ combined annual income is within ₹2,00,000 (₹1,50,000 for BC/EBC in rural areas)
- No family member is a government employee, and the family does not pay income tax
