How to apply

The shop refuses portability	Every Fair Price Shop with an ePoS device must honour ONORC. Ask the dealer to use the machine, and escalate to the State PDS helpline if refused.
Aadhaar is not seeded with the card	Get every family member’s Aadhaar linked to the ration card at your ration office — portability needs Aadhaar seeding.
Biometric is not matching	Try an alternate fingerprint / iris or OTP-based authentication, and update your biometrics at an Aadhaar centre if needed.
Family is split across cities	Different members can draw their share at different shops; use the Mera Ration app to track the remaining balance.
